ABOUT OUR TEAM
 

The San Ramon Aqua Bears in a non-profit summer recreational swim team.  

The purpose of the San Ramon Aqua Bears is to provide a summer recreational swim team for children ages 4-18 years, who live in or around San Ramon, California.  The team’s mission is to provide a positive, fun and educational swim experience that emphasizes physical fitness, good sportsmanship, self-esteem, and personal victories in a family atmosphere.  The team welcomes swimmers of all ability levels.  

The Aqua Bears utilize two swimming facilities:

• Dougherty Valley Aquatic Center:  10550 Albion Road, San Ramon, CA 
  • May practices
  • Home meets
  • Lessons with the coaches
• San Ramon Olympic Pool:  9900 Broadmoor Drive, San Ramon, CA
  • ​May-July practices

Our season typically runs May through the third week in July.

Our team usually has only a few openings for new swimmers each season.

• Please read the FAQs for more information about our team and for information about registration and waitlists.
• New for 2019 will be a first-come-first-served online registration for new swimmers ages 7-18.  Check our website in January for more information
• Siblings and those ages 6 and under must join the waitlist to be contacted if there are any open spots.
